The Curve

Finally. I've been working on these for what seemingly feels like forever. Just shy of forever. 2ish and a halfish months. This and another track which will be on the world wide web, soon. Which is titled: "I walked all the way here just to turn around and see where I was". I was working on this one and another in tandem-like. Swapping back and forth in order to keep things fresh. I almost scrapped the other one. I kept at it though and its shaping up nicely.

The ending of this track gets me every time. I love the way it turned out very much. Starting at 8:14 and finishing up. There was a lot of different things - thoughts - filtering in and out of this track. I attempted to something interesting with guitar. I attempted to step outside of my normal things with this one. It started off very ambient and well, came into this, as it is now. That was my initial goal. Very light drums - if any at all. I couldn't resist. Ah well, ha. There's a sort of samba-like jivey party @ 6:30? With a sort of shoegazey guitar that shrieks in. Anyway:

and on another note - I'm in the process of getting signed with "Nueva Forma"

The Curve:

The Curve by [Lapse]

Just one time. That's it. It's all I really want. An exodus to a situation above us. Countdown and release. When I can see it all. It's much bigger than me - yet in the plainest view. Perhaps not the plainest. The simplest view. My eyes, tuned to whichever colors makes up the world; whatever light that shapes this place.

..To feel, again, like a single cell.

Caustic, this ribcage.

Prevailing, these seams.

This muscle pulses with so many unanswered questions.

I feel like the only way to sense reality...

...I want to feel weightless.

I want to remember what I was like before consciousness.

What was I doing then?

I don't even think that is a valid question.
